Wednesday: Reflection
Sometimes we move through our day carrying the energy of whatever just happened.
A frustrating conversation comes with us into the next one.
A stressful meeting follows us into lunch.
Something our child said stays in our head while we're trying to work.
We move on, but we don't always arrive.
Today, I’m thinking about how a pause can give us a chance to put something down before we pick up the next thing.
Not to fix it.
Not to figure it out.
Just to acknowledge: that happened, and now I’m here.
We don’t have to carry every moment into the next one.
So before you move into whatever comes next today, take one breath.
Notice where you are.
And ask yourself:
What can I leave behind so I can be fully here for what’s next?
